Cancellation & refunds
Plans change. Here's exactly where you stand, so there are no surprises either way.
Cancelling your stay
- Seven days or more before check-in
- A full refund, deposit included. Nothing to pay.
- Less than seven days before check-in
- The deposit is retained. At that notice the dates are usually too close to re-let.
The booking deposit
The deposit is 30% of the total, with a minimum of ₹5,000. It holds your dates and comes off the total, with the balance settled at the villa. It's returned in full if you cancel seven or more days before check-in, and retained if you cancel after that.
The refundable security deposit
Separately from the booking deposit above, a refundable security deposit is collected as part of your booking. It is returned after check-out, once we have completed a routine look around the villa.
If there is accidental damage, breakage, loss, or cleaning needed beyond the ordinary, the cost of putting it right may be taken from that deposit.
We simply ask that you enjoy the villa and treat it as you would your own home — it is how the house stays worth coming back to.
Changing your dates
Moving a booking is often easier than cancelling it. Get in touch and we'll shift your dates if the villa is free — and if something genuinely outside your control gets in the way of travelling, talk to us before cancelling. We'd rather find a way.
Booked through Airbnb or another site? Their cancellation terms apply to that booking, not these. Booking direct with us is the only way these terms apply.
