🧾 Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all bookings made through LIGHTHOUSE VILLA

1. Standard Cancellation Policy. 

Unless specified otherwise by the Host in the listing:

• Full Refund: If the Guest cancels at least 24 hours before check-in.

• 50% Refund: If the Guest cancels between 7 to 3 days before check-in.

• No Refund: If the Guest cancels less than 3 days before check-in or in case of a no-show.

2. Host-Specific Policies

Hosts may define custom cancellation rules. These will be clearly displayed on the listing page. Guests are advised to read the policy before booking.

3. Force Majeure

In the event of natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances, refunds may be granted at the discretion of the platform and/or Host.

4. Refund Processing

• Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

• Platform service fees may be non-refundable unless the booking is canceled by the Host.

🏡 House Rules

To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for both Hosts and Guests, all users must follow these House Rules:

For Guests

• Check-in and check-out times must be respected.

• Government-issued ID must be shown at check-in as per local police requirements.

• No loud music or parties without prior approval, and after 10:00 PM to 8:00AM. 

• Smoking is not allowed inside the house. (unless explicitly stated). 

• Pets are not allowed. 

• Keep the premises clean and avoid damage to property.

• Any damage caused must be reported and compensated for.

• Respect the privacy and comfort of the Host and neighbors.

For Hosts

• Ensure the property is clean, safe, and accurately described.

• Maintain functioning utilities and basic amenities.

• Provide guests with local emergency contact details.

• Disclose any cameras or monitoring devices in advance.

Violation of these rules may lead to cancellation of the stay without refund and removal from the platform.

We reserve the right to restrict access, remove listings, or terminate accounts at our sole discretion if the platform is used in violation of our policies or Indian laws.
